Paintball is a sport or recreational activity for both men and women in which two teams compete on a playing field, which may feature natural or artificial obstacles.

Each player uses a marker, which fires 68-calibre paintballs (the most commonly used calibre), as well as a protective mask, which is essential for safety during the game.

The main aim is to eliminate opposing players by hitting them with paintballs, which leave a visible mark on impact. At the same time, each player must avoid being eliminated. A player is eliminated as soon as they are hit, whether on any part of their body or on any equipment in contact with them, such as their helmet, gun or shoes.

There are various types of scenarios and game formats.

The President / The Bodyguard In this mode, each team designates a VIP, the target to be eliminated. The aim is simple: protect your President at all costs, just like a real bodyguard, whilst trying to eliminate the opposing team’s VIP.

Capture the Flag
A flag is placed in the centre of the field, in plain view. Your mission: to capture the flag and bring it back to your base. Be careful: if you are hit along the way, you must leave the flag exactly where you were eliminated, giving your opponents a chance to capture it.

The Fort
In this scenario, one team takes up position inside a fort and must defend it at all costs. The opposing team plays the attackers, with a single objective: to breach the fort and detonate a bomb. Tactics, courage and coordination will be your best allies in securing victory.

To make the most of your game whilst ensuring your safety, it is essential to follow a few basic rules:

• Wear a face mask at all times: A face mask must be worn throughout the game to prevent any risk of injury to the face or eyes.
• Observe the minimum shooting distance: Set by the paintball centre, this distance is usually between 7 and 10 metres, ensuring that hits are less painful.
• Using a barrel plug outside the playing area: This prevents accidental firing when you are taking a break or moving around.
• Please refrain from consuming alcohol on the pitch: For safety reasons, alcohol is strictly prohibited to ensure that players remain alert and in control.
