What is paintball?
Paintball is a sport or recreational activity for both men and women in which two teams compete on a playing field, which may feature natural or artificial obstacles.
Each player uses a marker, which fires 68-calibre paintballs (the most commonly used calibre), as well as a protective mask, which is essential for safety during the game.
The main objective is to eliminate opposing players by hitting them with paintballs, the impact of which leaves a visible mark. At the same time, each player must avoid being eliminated. A player is eliminated as soon as they are hit, whether on any part of their body or on any equipment in contact with them, such as their helmet, gun or shoes.
There are various types of scenarios and game formats.
Are there any age restrictions for paintball players?
Children must be at least 12 years old to play Paintball, provided they have parental consent and a parent is present during the activity.
For younger players, there are smaller, child-friendly 50-calibre spring-powered markers, allowing children as young as 9 to play paintball. These markers offer an experience tailored to children whilst ensuring their safety.
What happens during a paintball session?
1- On arrival, all players must read the rules and safety instructions, and then sign a waiver to be covered by insurance.
2- The necessary equipment is then handed out. A briefing is given, explaining the equipment provided, the safety rules, the rules of the game, and the scenarios that will be played out.
3- Teams are formed taking into account each participant’s experience and interests.
4- The first part begins, and between each game session, breaks are scheduled to clean the masks and recharge the markers if necessary.
5- Once you’ve had a go at all the maps and scenarios, you can choose your favourite map to finish the session with the last few rounds.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of people required to participate?
If there are six or more of you, you will form a group and will not be mixed with other teams. We therefore recommend that you organise a group of players to form two teams, which we can then combine with other groups if necessary.
However, if there aren’t enough of you, we will pair you up with other participants to form teams.
What equipment and services are included in my paintball package?
At Paintball Brussels, you play exclusively with your own group!

How do I make a booking?
You can easily book online using the booking form available on our package pages. Alternatively, you can book by phone by calling us on 0000 000 000 during our business hours.
Our paintball site is open every weekend, and during the week we welcome groups of 16 or more by prior booking.
What cover do I have under my insurance policy?
Our personal and group liability insurance policy covers all damages arising from the sport of paintball. This means you can enjoy the activity with complete peace of mind, knowing that you are protected in the event of an incident.
However, it is important to note that, although we take every necessary precaution, injuries may occur as a result of falls or other unforeseen circumstances. We therefore urge you to remain vigilant.
In addition to the safety precautions specific to this activity, paintball is often played in wooded areas, where risks exist if the rules of caution and common sense are not strictly observed. Your safety therefore also depends on your behaviour and your adherence to the instructions.

What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities. Do consider wearing clothes that can get dirty, as well as sturdy, closed-toe shoes for added safety. If you wish, we can provide you with additional equipment to ensure your comfort during the game.
Is it possible to play paintball safely?
Absolutely, we make it a point of honour to ensure the safety of all our participants. Our equipment is thoroughly checked, and clear safety instructions are provided before each session so that you can enjoy the activity with complete peace of mind
